It’s Ditmar voting time again. Despite being the biggest and most eclectic anthology of Australian Science Fiction produced last year, Anywhere but Earth didn’t gather any Ditmar love, but we congratulate those lucky individuals that did garner enough votes to make it onto the list. You can vote for your favourites at the Ditmar wiki. [...] Decidedly NOT final cover art Time rolls along and things appear to be on schedule for our launch of Pyrotechnicon at Conflux 8. The draft text has had a thorough going over, not least by polyglot Wendy Waring who did excellent work checking on the French, German and Latin spelling and grammar. And after [...] The short list for this years’ Victorian Chronos Awards has been announced with a nice surprise: Steve Cameron’s Anywhere But Earth short story ‘So Sad, The Lighthouse Keeper’ has been shortlisted in the short fiction category.
